I first heard Michael W. Smith when i was 10, at a friend's house, whose Mother was a devout Catholic and amazing person. 27 years later, after I had lost it all, I found Christ and have been in search of him, to feel him, hear him, and know him. Randomly, a church member who I also attend a recovery group with posted this song. I had heard other groups cover the song and enjoyed it. But on that day, I saw this video posted by her, noticed who sang it and remembered the past. It was as if I began to remember the future. It was as if I could see the way finally (funny huh?) I went to church singing this song, and that day, finally sang the songs our praise team offered for us to join them in. I sang my heart out, and felt everyone else doing the same. A girl in front of me of 9 or 10 years old was holding her new baby brother of maybe 4 months, and he was wide-eyed and smiling watching me. It made me smile and sing more, and point to the heavens. The girl laughed, encouraged by my faith, which was building in sincere intensity. She turned so her brother could feel the fullness of it, and it in turn blessed me. I felt God's love in his eyes. The last few days since then have been different. My pains are gone. Thank you Jesus, my savior. And thank you Michael W. Smith. Thank you all. I love you all.

Hi everyone! I am 18 years old and I wanted to tell you a story of what happened tonight. I was just lying in bed being lazy and watching some of my favourite youtubers, then I was like, you know what? I'm going to set aside my time to have an encounter with god and to praise him. I put on this song and I started worship lying down in bed. Then all of a sudden, when the music gets louder and louder next thing I know, my hand are in the air, my arms and mouth are chattering (if that makes sence) and I was balling my eyes out. I couldnt stop myself. Then once it would quiet down I would calm my self down. It would happen everytime. I had a picture an ocean. I had to think but eventually I figured it out.... he wanted me to be baptised! This my encounter with lord christ and I pray that everyone can feel his presence listening to this song. Well here I am now. Age 12 and got baptised 23-06-2021! I just really felt that I needed to share my encounter because we are 1 big family and we are all in this together! Thank you if you have read my encounter all the way through! Bless you ALL!
